SP9326: 14/10/12 - Roll out the Red-green Carpet

A dire month so far - four sessions yielding ten moths of four species - so rather pleased to snag a new* macro for the garden - Red-green Carpet, seen only once before in TL0024 on 18/10/10.

A dullish-brown larva, noted occasionally over the last couple of weeks, was finally photographed and identified as the Dot Moth. The larva is polyphagous but was feeding on an unknown plant whose origin may be explained by the fact that it is growing under the birdseed feeder!
