SP9326: 04/07/12 - Tiger in the Tank !

It was way past bedtime, conditions looked good, and with an early start for work in prospect I followed the 'just one more look' policy of mothing. What I least expected was a stunning Scarlet Tiger sitting on the trap.
Homoeosoma sinuella was another new* garden moth as was Ancylis achatana.

  2. Thanks Matt, probably goes down as 'unknown origin', but Mandy did have one a few miles up the road in June of last year. Still an impressive beast though :-)
