SP9326: 15/07/11

Frustratingly, trapping was curtailed after three hours before rain stopped play. However, on the bright side, five new garden moths dropped by.

Gelechia senticetella (Staus: Nb - nationally scarce) was first discovered in the UK in 1988, Bedfordshire in 1997, and now in my garden ! There are twenty-six records in the database. There are thirty-nine previous records of Aethes rubigana.

787* Bryotropha terrella
801a* Gelechia senticetella
946*  Aethes rubigana
1205*  Spilonota ocellana
1378*  Phlyctaenia coronata
